Tula Skincare

If you know me, you know that I am extremely picky about what goes on my face. As someone who has struggled with genetic cystic acne for the majority of her memorable lifetime (thanks, dad)- I do not play around. I did a round of accutane, countless antibiotics, and every topical product on the market. Eventually, I got to a place where I liked my skin.

I thought I finally had my skin under control, but in my 26th year of life I took on a whole new beast- adult hormonal acne. This one honestly sucked the life out of me. I cried daily and my acne got worse no matter what I tried. After a 6 months on spironolactone (a post for another time- but fyi it saved my life), I had conquered the most of it. However, I was still terrified to put anything topically on my skin. I determined that I had developed sensitivities to most topical ingredients, even the good ones. I wouldn’t go near glycolic acid with a 10 foot pole.

When I got the opportunity to try out TULA, I was pretty excited because I had heard so many great things…. but equally hesitant. I did not want to jeopardize all of the time and work I had put in to getting my skin to where it was. I decided to take the leap anyhow (impulsive).

I am here to report that after a couple weeks of using a consistent TULA regimen, I am obsessed. This skincare brand is not only CLEAN, which is a huge deal, but is packed with superfoods and many of the products are probiotic based. I take a daily probiotic to balance my body… so why not use them on my skin? It actually makes a ton of sense. The cleanser is HUGE, effective, and an amazing price for the size. The moisturizer is super hydrating, but balancing for my combo skin. The priming gel has a texture unlike anything I have used before, and is an AMAZING base for makeup. The mask is a baby skin dream, and it smells like a dream too. The product that impressed me the most was the toner- glycolic acid has been known to irritate my skin, but this one is PERFECT. If you think you have a glycolic acid sensitivity and are looking for a good exfoliating toner, I highly suggest trying this out. Not pictured here is the rose glow eye balm, which is amazing as a highlighter as well.

All in all, I cannot recommend this brand enough. And luckily, I have a coupon code for you all to use! Use code BAILEYMBC for 15% off your tula purchases online.

As always, all of my thoughts are my own and I would never suggest something I do not personally use and love. Try it out yourself and let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
